This popular guided walk will take a circular stroll around picturesque Whalley village in the Ribble Valley; looking at the native wildflowers on route in the meadows, woodlands and riverbanks.
You will have an opportunity to find out about basic plant identification techniques, learn to name some familiar native wildflowers and find out about their habitats.
The walk includes stiles and uphill walks and may be muddy, depending on the weather, so please wear sturdy footwear and comfortable clothing. The walk will take place regardless of the weather, so come prepared !
The ticket includes handouts on the flowers you will see on the walk. There are plenty of cafes and pubs in Whalley where you can have lunch after the walk.
