Living on the edge of the West Pennine Moors; Sandra suffers from the usual problems of heavy, wet clay soil, cold weather and winds (and the occasional rabbit!).

She had recently had her garden landscaped and wanted to select plants for her new borders.  I was invited over to look at her garden and find out about the style of planting she liked.  I was then able to suggest the types of plants that would create the style she liked and still thrive in her garden.  I also advised her on good plant suppliers and planting techniques.

Sandra  said “Sue has helped me plan and plant a border with plants that suit and thrive in my garden. it looks fantastic too ! Gone are the days of spending  a fortune on  random plants from the garden centre which look great but dislike my soil and conditions. Learning the basics such as how to dig properly, tease out roots and harden off plants has improved my confidence with coping with my own garden and made gardening much more pleasurable.”
